10 Places in Pennsylvania You Should NEVER Move To

Move to these places and you’re gonna regret it big time!

If you were going to make a list of places to NOT to move to in Pennsylvania, you’d have a lot to choose from. Many people wouldn’t want to live on a farm, or in smallish communities where there isn’t even electricity. Or in an old beat up former coal mining town where the local economy is horrible. Many of us wouldn’t want to live in a big inner city where violence and homelessness rules the day.

You could actually choose many MANY places in Pennsylvania that would be a bad choice for a newcomer. Long time Pennsylvania residents could rattle off at least 20 places they wouldn’t want to live in themselves. And, in case you didn’t know, migration TO the Keystone State stopped being positive a long while ago.

Anyways, because everyone likes lists in tens, we did a lot of homework to bring you a list of only 10 places in Pennsylvania where you should NEVER move, even though there’s way more than that.

We’re going to talk about places in Pittsburgh, near Philadelphia and near Scranton. Places like McKeesport, Chester, Reading and more!

I don’t live in Chalfont, but it is definitely the worst place I’ve ever set foot in.

I’ve lived in Brownsville my whole life. And it’s VERY beautiful. I personally think it’s a good place to have a family. The school isn’t bad, their is jobs, and no violence. There is the occasinol drugy. But other than that it’s a nice place to live. (also there isn’t much to do here besides walk in the woods or go down by the river.)

Those of you complaining about how he pronounces Wilkes-Barre……..NE Pennsylvania’s own WNEP news even says "Wilkes-Berry," and they’re based in nearby Scranton. Even WBRE TV news IN WILKES-BARRE pronounces it Wilkes-BERRY.

One reason the Pennsylvania Democrat Mafia wants you to move to Pennsylvania is that lots of people moving out, and they need fresh pockets to the the money from the wallets. Believe it or not we got a rain tax and one place Pennsylvania totally leads in is the highest toll turnpike in the world, not the state, nor country, but in the world.

I live in Brownsville and love how put of the way and quiet my neighborhood is. I could even afford a yard large enough to have a big garden.

Well I knew you were full of shit when you couldn’t even place Harrisburg in the correct spot on the map. Sure the city has its
problems, and Pennsylvania in general is kinda awful — but I spent half my life there and since I know for a fact at least half your data was wrong about this town, I’m going to assume half of everything you’re saying is wrong as well.

You can’t move to Centralia, it’s off-limits now to move to. Why would you want to? I’m from Philly. Like many in Philly we moved to a small town in the mountains to retire. We know all the bad places and did the research. Most of the trouble in eastern and central PA comes from players from Philly, NJ and NYC, mostly to deal drugs.

There’s good people in Brownsville except the pizza lady.

  23. Robert Ryzner on March 14, 2023 at 5:50 am

Wilkes-barre is actually getting much nicer. I live about 10-12 minutes from it. (Also, it’s pronounced like Wilkes-BEAR. Not Wilkes-BERRY.)

You are right about the bad parts of Pittsburgh, just don’t talk about my hometown like that.

  32. Cyan Pitts on March 14, 2023 at 6:06 am

Tbh, this video was biased as hell. I sat through it looking for information on touring White Haven and instead, listened to you ramble on about ghettos (leaving out Philly, of all places). I agree with the woman who hung up on you, I wish I was her. You could have spoken about the cost of living, activities to do, and how locals treat outsiders but it felt like you took some uneducated top ten list online and turned it into a video.

  33. Isabella Novicki on March 14, 2023 at 6:07 am

Eh hem. I love in Pittsburgh it’s not fair how bad they made it.

  34. Robert Sigafoos on March 14, 2023 at 6:07 am

And two years later Pennsylvania has gotten worse. We even elected an US senator that can’t formulate a sentence and the crime rate has gotten higher than the political correctness rate.
