As an Open Admissions shelter and the only animal shelter servicing 5,500 square miles of Arizona’s Southwest border, the Humane Society of Yuma has persevered amidst different challenges all while caring for over 8,000 animals every year. Through the dedicated work our staff and volunteers, the support of our donors and community advocates; today, we are saving over 60% of our population and over 90% of our dogs. Although we have made huge progress, there is still a lot of work to do. The Humane Society of Yuma is working towards the goal of becoming a “no-kill” community. And only with your help, the Humane Society of Yuma can make this happen.
Because together, we can #saveoneuntiltherearenone.
