    Please check that the harness/seat belt you are planning to get has been crash tested and confirm its safety. Seatbelts are almost never safe and snap very easily. I recommend a heavy duty car safe harness (if you look up dog crash tests you can find some really good and really bad options), the best option being a very heavy duty steel/some type of metal crate. Please be safe, guys.

    Gohan will not survive a crash if you are hooking him up to his collar. A harness should always be used to attach to a seatbelt…

    You….don’t put the dog seat leash on the collar. You get a harness and attach so the force is spread out and not condensed into one spot, especially in a place that has a lot of danger. The most common injury in dogs is thyroid damage as it is right at the front of the throat.

    A dog seat belt should not be connected to a collar, if there was a serious incident this could break their neck. You need a harness to attach it to; they sell specialty car harnesses now but others will work too
