Do you have to be a specific age to have a hearing dog? I’ve been completely deaf in both ears ever since I was 3/4. Now I am 13 going on 14 in a couple months.

I am now 59 and have been deaf in my left ear since I was 6. I did have a dog that alerted me and kept me company but I moved and never thought I could bring him. I can not afford 300. deposit for a dog. I really need one to help me. I wouldn’t hear at night if someone tried to break in or the fire alarm. What should I do? I am on medicare and social security.

If you’re able to hear then you should watch this without audio.
