Why isn’t there a federal registry for service animals? It seems like the public has to rely on the handler telling them the truth vs if there was a way to show authentic proof it seems it would be a lot easier on all.

What if your service dog is currently tasked but you are continuing on their training? My service dog was trained by me initially for one medical alert. I have a patch indicator on my dog’s vest that lets people know in the public he is in training because like people we never stop learning and he is being trained to continue his learning. Am I wrong?

Is your landlord asking you for DNA proof of breed discrimination against the Ada? All dog breeds are allowed so how can they force anybody to do a DNA test for their insurance policy?

They can offer crime deterrents as an extra to the service though, kennels like Top Tier do it. Like if you hit me or my dog they are then provoked and what happens happens and they can defend you and the person gets a provoking a service dog charge, if it is within the law. There are many court cases all over the country of dogs defending themselves and their owners when attacked and winning. All dogs and their owners can defend themselves. Not allowing a dog to defend itself is animal abuse and not allowing it to defend you is wrong. You just can not have a dog ONLY trained to protect as in pp as a service dog and it can not be aggressive in public.

This information has been amazing. So I live in a coop building. As you know a coop building has strict rules. If I have a Yorkshire terroir registered as my emotional support dog could they still kick him out ?
