I have a 501c3 charitable org that is specifically geared towards animal welfare, and live in an eastern NM rural town. Dogs & puppies must have a Health Certificate to be imported from NM to CO. If the rescue orgs sending the animals out OR the receiving rescues don’t agree to pay for the necessary testing BEFORE transport, and have fosters willing to hold the animals while test results come back, the this is EXACTLY what happens.

Can’t get a dog in this state to save your soul. This is a puppy flipping state, which is why I will not be doing the hoops and backflips to try to adopt a dog ever again. I’ll just go to a reputable breeder.

Adopt don’t shop, what a joke.

Terrible reporting! Just name the bad rescues don’t group rescues that save animals from euthanization. Also please talk about the cause and solution to overpopulation!

    Why not name the rescues?
