Disney World's luxury pet resort, Best Friends Pet Care

A look at Best Friends Pet Care at Walt Disney World. This new luxury pet resort replaces the former keenels at Disney World. Dog owners can choose from a variety of accommodations, ranging from a standard 32-square-foot all-indoor suite, to an expansive 226-square-foot VIP suite with television, raised bedding and private outdoor yard. Cats will spend their visit in the separate “Kitty City” pavilion in two- and four-room condos. There also is a special area for boarding pocket pets such as hamsters, fish and birds. All animals except venomous ones and primates are welcome.

After watching this, I’m 25% less of a Disney fan because I have a cat. And the attention the cats are having is not good, especially compared to the dog. Why the hell should the do that !

    Two things:
1). Disney is going to take over the world. So that "What stays in Disney, Stays in Disney" will not exist.
2). My cat likes to go outside on a leash. It would be nice for those "special" cats that like to be dogs can have something’s to do there that feels normal to them. Like having an outside room like the dogs do. Having a different walking path for those cats that like to go on a leash.

Looks like an excellent place to take your pets. The pets are really pampered.

  11. pretty_bird on June 17, 2019 at 6:44 pm

  12. Karen Smith on June 17, 2019 at 6:47 pm

Why do they hide the non vip dog kennels? They stuck in those creepy noisy metal cages with only 2 walks a day

  13. jeszyjay on June 17, 2019 at 6:48 pm

It’s runned by a mouse what do you thing cats were going to get?

  14. Mark Jefferson on June 17, 2019 at 6:51 pm

You people are gullible if you think dogs actually enjoy this.

@AbbieJolie the tuxedo cat was lovely! he looked just like my tuxedo cat! 🙂
though i dont think i like cat accomadation there, but i dont like cat hotels in general, i always prefer to leave mine at home and pay a neighbour to come round to the house and feed them if i am away

  20. IMastersI on June 17, 2019 at 6:58 pm

@StrangeMusicFan91 Than you have a really crappy house

  21. mamasuzie on June 17, 2019 at 6:58 pm

@BrknHrtd662266 if you had to pay in body parts, it would most likely cost you 2 arms and 1 leg. lol

I definitely want to give this place a try for my yorkie in maybe a year or two. I’m a disney-fanatic. Btw, the CEO of this place looks like a chubbier version of Jamie Kennedy LOL

Some people just can’t be away from there animals and just want to make sure if anything happens then they can be there as soon as possible. I for one plan to bring my two dogs here next summer when I go to Disney world so they can relax as well.

  30. Miccles Wong on June 17, 2019 at 7:08 pm

They put the cats in a giant box altogether while the dogs get their whole room to themselves and get playtime, grooming time and a flat screen tv plus a room that is 105% better than my entire room

I hate how they treat cats

  33. AbbieJolie on June 17, 2019 at 7:11 pm

Kitty sitting on a hard shelf did not impress. Owners should have the option of freshly laundered fluffy towels for kitty to rest on at least!

  34. Keelin and my pal Pluto on June 17, 2019 at 7:14 pm

Dogs need the room cause their active. Cats just sleep around all day and don’t do much

  35. Zukita Chan on June 17, 2019 at 7:14 pm

My mom wants to know how much it is for a cat.

  36. papas_new_bag on June 17, 2019 at 7:15 pm

Let me start by saying I love dogs but I have a child who is deathly afraid of dogs. All dogs big dogs small dogs nice dogs mean dogs does not matter what kind of dog it is she is afraid of dogs. I also have a son who is allergic to pet dander, we go to Disney at least once every 15 months. This something we have never had to worry about when we go to Disney. We usually stay at the Art of Animation but I cannot imagine having to deal with this problem because of somebody else’s dog. Plus on top of that I do not want to be woke up in the middle of the night because somebody’s dog is barking because they are in a strange place. In general this seems like a bad idea, it seems like it would alienate most of the guests who wouldn’t dream of taking a dog to Disney.

  37. Linda Goodwin on June 17, 2019 at 7:18 pm

This looks expensive, but the pets get the very best care. I would definitely take my dog to this facility.

  38. StrangeMusicFan91 on June 17, 2019 at 7:19 pm

…………….. that place is like 20 million times better than my house.

  39. LoveTheCity123 on June 17, 2019 at 7:19 pm

@ItsOnBTV LMFAO! That’s like the movie, "Knocked Up" for pets! Hahaha!

  40. rayblack2004 on June 17, 2019 at 7:20 pm

i hope the hamsters get lettuce and carrots

  41. RoomWithAView on June 17, 2019 at 7:21 pm

sorry but what good reason do people have at bringing their pet to a disney trip?

  42. AbbieJolie on June 17, 2019 at 7:22 pm

OK, the tuxedo cat did seem to have a soft bed on the lower level. I am pleased for cats to have a quiet place.

  43. JayFoxFire on June 17, 2019 at 7:26 pm

    hehehe that’s pretty funny

  44. Ms. LesaRenay on June 17, 2019 at 7:27 pm

@ssidiouss That`s because dogs are a lot better than cats as pets. Have you ever had Chinese food? Yum.
