This is really helpful! I have a few questions. Do you suggest using the furminator for puppies? Also, how do you encourage the dog to shake off the ear drop excess? Is that something you trained Herky to do? Finally, do you brush their teeth every night? Thanks so much again for the info!

are your ears naturally that long or do u just grow out the hairs on her ears? cos i dont really want all that hair around my cav if im gonna get one, so if i were to groom it, would i groom the hair all the way to the tip of the ear?

Is Herky’s temperament the norm for Cavaliers? I bring my Cav puppy home next month, can’t wait to have him in my arms. ๐Ÿ™‚

I give my cavalier raw chicken backs, turkey necks etc to keep her teeth clean. She is on a raw diet, so no need to brush her teeth. Your dogs are adorable.

Would you say there are any restrictions to the products used between when the dog is a puppy and an adult? I’m hopefully getting a cavalier pup this weekend but didnt know if i should be buying "puppy" labelled things or if it didnt matter? ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi! I have few questions and can anybody help me. My dog (the same breed as Herky) is going to be 3 years old in april. So first we had him in our flat and do all this things, but then he was at my grandparents for 2 years on a farm… yeah but you know how is on the farm… so how can I start over without a big stress for my dog? BTW he had an ear infection when we got him at 8 weeks I think and the vet told us everything just like you, but… yeah. Pls help)
