  1. I can tell you that with cats at least if you make bath time a game like with either real Gold Fish or some of those fishing minnows from the bait shop that are like 50 cents a dozen or something like that it helps out a lot. Start as a kitten if you can, put fresh water in tub but you need the Chlorine decontamination drops if you want the little minnows to survive for more then 3 min. Also the minnows hate hot water but the cats gonna kill them off so the Chlorine drops are a optional thing. I simply run hot water to a good temp, throw minnows in, get the cat, play my way into the bathroom and allow him to play a bit with the minnows then dunk him in feet first and hold on for the love of all and money. Sometimes the battle royal starts off and other times he is to into the minnows…………..currently 2 years later it takes a entire Bluegill or shad to entice him into even thinking about going into the water long. I tried the ole jump in the pool with a bar o soap and the cat but that’s not a great idea, they will hate you for weeks to come.

  2. Getting her in is the hardest part, I have to pull her in ( I don’t have to drag her as she still walks on her own, I just have to direct her). One in I just walks behind her so she walks up to the tub and gets in (sometimes needing a push). Then I just close the sliding door on the bath and its just 20 minutes of her walking around the shower miserable and me petting her. After I dry her off a bit in the shower so she doesn’t get water all over the place, then I dry her outside the shower and give her a couple of treats while she stands there moping. Then once I get her as dry as I can, I open the door and all is forgiven, she runs out rubs herself on the rug and once I’m out of the bathroom, comes over to me and wants me to pet her and take her outside.

My younger brother gave her a bath one time and she avoided him for a month and for the first two weeks after she would growl at him if he came near her. As a result, I have been elected the one to bathe the dog and provide any gross health treatments, like cleaning up the mucus when she has an infection, etc.

  3. My dog is the total opposite. When she hears the word, “bath” she would go running to the bathroom, and launch in the bath.

  4. I have a one year old German Shepherd and he doesn’t like to take baths but he never growls at me or shows ne his teeth

  5. The dog at 2:40 is dead now since dogs can only live up to 13 years at maximum…not to mention that dog looks big so it’s probably 7 years old

  6. The owners shouldn’t put up with the snapping, snarling dogs with the bared fangs. They definitely need to be trained to not act so aggressively.

  7. You know – dogs in the WILD do not bathe and do not need to. Why do humans find a need to force an animal that isn’t designed to need to take a bath in order to be clean to take them? Idiots
