I’m Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕

Our dog is afraid of fire hydrants. Of all things! FIRE HYDRANTS! Like dude, you’re a DOG. Come on, bro. LOL!

  4. Mila Kelly on September 29, 2022 at 9:04 am

I work for a District Attorney’s office here in the US and our Special Victim’s Unit had a dog permanently in the office to sit with victims!! Dogs in courtrooms and police stations help TREMENDOUSLY

  5. The Chronic Explorer on September 29, 2022 at 9:04 am

Im a powerchair user in Canada! Maybe Ill have to sign up for Mira and GiGi could become my helper dog!!

  6. Pollock Stefanie on September 29, 2022 at 9:06 am

My MIRA dog was also disqualified because she was afraid of their lion statues too! She had been in their program to help autistic children…but alas it was not meant to be. So they called me up and asked if I wanted to adopt her and take her back. How could I say no after raising her for her first year and a half?! RIP ma belle Nyssa!

One of the girls in my choir class is blind and due to your videos I’ve been able to help her out when she needs help

  8. Aelira on September 29, 2022 at 9:12 am

Thanks for the puppy update! The hyperactivity wasn’t that much of a surprise for me. At the guide dog school where I used to work, we’d often see this when dogs came in for training. Generally, they got used to the kennels and mellowed out after a while, but often they kind of forgot the basics for a week or two.

  9. vvkouna on September 29, 2022 at 9:14 am

Thanks for sharing about ThredUp! Is it available in Canada?

  10. Rachel C. on September 29, 2022 at 9:18 am

I knew she would end up in mobility training because she is crazy strong! Congrats, Gigi!

  11. Hannah on September 29, 2022 at 9:18 am

Molly I can’t express how obsessed I am with your outfits! I love love love the lilac/lavender sweater with the green checkered romper!!

  12. Laura Houghton on September 29, 2022 at 9:19 am

I INSTANTLY thought GiGi was gonna go to the mobility program because she’s so strong and has plenty of energy. So glad I was right!

  13. sock on September 29, 2022 at 9:25 am

I love the name Laptop for a dog! Imagine calling your dog at the park and going "Laptop, come here" haha

  14. Pixie on September 29, 2022 at 9:25 am

Congrats Gigi! She is so precious. Also can I ask where your round gold necklace is from with all the symbols on it? It is so pretty!

  15. Stephanie Osborne on September 29, 2022 at 9:27 am

Molly would you mind sharing more of your fav brands? I honestly have never bought anything from nicer brands before, I am petite just like you, and I love your style!

  16. Cheryl Baker on September 29, 2022 at 9:28 am

I’m curious to learn about how the breeding process works for the mom doggies…how many litters are obtained from the same momma? & how much time in between do they wait?

  18. Cheryl-Lynn Mehring on September 29, 2022 at 9:31 am

That was a good representation of Thread Up’s products! Only thing I don’t like, is you have to make an account/sign up just to browse the site.

  19. Molly Burke on September 29, 2022 at 9:32 am

I still can’t believe that Elton John and Gigi are half siblings!! If all the other signs weren’t clear enough, this is! I’m so glad I listened to the trainers and went with Sir Elton John! <3 And can you believe that Gigi will be entering formal training in about 6 months?! AH! I can’t wait to hear more about her progress and you know that when I hear something, I’ll share it! Thank you all again for the continued support of me AND of the incredible Mira Foundation! <3 Our girl Gigi will change someones live one day and it’s all thanks to YOU! <3

  20. cdsky3 on September 29, 2022 at 9:36 am

Gigi could be female actress from the 50’s names category (there are also Gigi shoes- so luxury products)! They could have Zsa Zsa as well for the actresses! So glad to hear an update about her (Gigi). It will be fun to follow her 😀

  21. HaleyMaryArtzab on September 29, 2022 at 9:39 am

That is so cool that Gigi and Elton John are related. That Bennix sculpture is so adorable.

Gigi looks so happy to be reunited with you. That’s so wonderful that she will be entering into mobility training. It will be so wonderful if she can improve someone’s life in the future.

That’s so beautiful that all your dogs have their own memorial stone there. What a beautiful way to honor service dogs.

  22. Autumn Giannette on September 29, 2022 at 9:41 am

To me I’ve never seen someone sponsor a dog I guess what is the whole point? Schools here in the US don’t do that as far as I know. That’s just my opinion

  23. Shirley Tramm on September 29, 2022 at 9:41 am

This seems random but can you do a tutorial of talkback to read descriptions on YT? I am having trouble getting talkback to read the descriptions section. It was trying to say there was a list. Do you use another screen reader for YT? Or you can just reply of this question won’t make a good video

  24. Chelsey Calderara on September 29, 2022 at 9:42 am

I was wondering if Mira helps people who live in the US?

  25. Lindsay Hengehold on September 29, 2022 at 9:45 am

I almost got a service dog for my health issues but decided not to because of the cost. Emotional support animals & service animals are so important to help those of us with health challenges.

  26. Loren G. on September 29, 2022 at 9:45 am

Not to take away from all the adorable Gigi content but I’m OBSESSED with your couch Molly!! It looks so plush! Where did you get it?!

  27. Jennifer Tilling on September 29, 2022 at 9:46 am

Well done MIRA for the new programme all the very best.

  28. yllwclusterduck on September 29, 2022 at 9:46 am

That flower pillow behind you is so stinking cute!!! Does anyone know where Molly got if? If Molly herself doesn’t answer?

I am so thrilled to see Gigi!

  29. Emma Markel on September 29, 2022 at 9:48 am

I love that her name is Gigi. Gigi is my best friend’s nickname. I hope Gigi is a beautiful best friend to whoever she gets to aid.

  30. Purrincxss on September 29, 2022 at 9:50 am

Curious why you didn’t get a stone for Elton John?

  31. Samantha Shipman on September 29, 2022 at 9:50 am

    "A little squad"
Hahaha Molly there’s almost 2 million of us

  32. Romy • on September 29, 2022 at 9:51 am

Don’t worry Molly, your shadow doesn’t cover their names, we can still see them perfectly on the video❤️

  33. Samantha Shipman on September 29, 2022 at 9:51 am

I would be so interested in meeting someone with a dog from another program, maybe Mira could help you set up an interview ?

  34. Jena H on September 29, 2022 at 9:52 am

Hooray for GiGi passing! maybe she’s one of those work hard play hard dogs that can switch into work mode.

  35. Danielle Starkey on September 29, 2022 at 9:54 am

My Dad’s beagle (RIP Oscar) used to bark at the lion statues by the park my Dad would take him too.

  36. Haylee Dawn on September 29, 2022 at 9:55 am

The lil female dog (I forget her name) that you were deciding between Elton John and her for yourself, she seems like a candidate for the court rooms. So chill, calm and steady.

  37. Serena Bennet on September 29, 2022 at 9:56 am

Even Gigi could be a name of a musician, Gigi d’ Agostino

  38. Mayonnaise Jane on September 29, 2022 at 9:57 am

I have a friend who for many years had a self-trained wheelchair dog that was half CHIHUAHUA so small size isn’t always a bad thing for wheelchair aide dogs. Opie was like, 14 lbs total, about the size of a small jack russel. She was in a manual but she was very able to self propel and Opie sometimes even rode on her lap, but that dog could JUMP so his small stature was never a problem for him doing his tasks, even if his height should have been a limiter. Sadly he’s no longer with us after an irresponsible (not even drunk!) driver hit him loosing control and driving up onto the front lawn while he was having playtime, but the point is, Gigi’s size shouldn’t be a problem for helping anyone in a chair who doesn’t her to pull/support a whole human weight, regardless of if their chair is manual or not. 😀

What a bundle of energy! Sounds like she’ll have a blast pulling someone along, lol
