  1. I’m stuck on measurements and I have a bull mastiff weighing 45kg and Siberian husky weighing 15kg. They have two meals a day but so far I’ve been put half meat and half biscuits but want to cut out the biscuits so can anyone advise me on how much they should be having, I don’t want them overweight but don’t want them feeling still hungry either.

  2. Cheers for the Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about – Parlandealey Pets Yummy Process (probably on Google)? It is a great one off product for discovering healthy recipes for dog food without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my close friend Aubrey got astronomical results with it.

  3. I wish I could feed my dog this but he is so allergic to eggs and beef he gets massive itchy skin and ear infections if I try feeding either of these sources of raw protein to him. =(

  4. VERY EASY to balance everything if you rotate proteins frequently and follow some basic rules 🙂
I use a multivitamin supplement that has kelp, alfalfa, spirulina.
Vit D3 supplement alone is best. I don’t recommend regular cod liver oil bc that can add way too much vitamin A if you are also feeding liver.
Vit E is good to get from veggies like that red bell pepper or pumpkin, if no veggies then an occasional supplement is ideal. Dogs don’t need much.
omega 3 supplement (FISH OIL) hemp oil is actually not good because dogs cant convert ALA into EPA and DHA which are the 3’s they need.
If you feed ocean fatty fish then you dont need vit D or omega 3s that day.
10-15% of daily intake as organs – liver, pancreas, spleen, lungs, kidney, etc
up to 20% cooked and mashed veggies. Raw veg will not give them what they need, gotta help break down those cell walls! Can feed fruit raw but only feed fruit as a treat.
If you feed raw meaty bones RMB’s (40-50% of diet) you don’t even need veggies, as the bones act as all the fiber they need
The rest of the diet should be muscle meat, which includes hearts (heart may be an organ but it’s technically muscle)
ROTATION IS KEY. If you stick to beef or chicken alone they will be missing some very important amino acids!! At least 5 different proteins pretty please.
There are a lot more details you can and SHOULD look up before you start making your own food. Particularly which veggies will make your dog sick. It’s not complicated but you are asking for trouble if you don’t read.
