As the dog moves so will the t shirt, right off its back. Safety pins are not safe.

Please DO NOT use safety pins. They will come unlocked and will stick the dog.
USE fabric glue or fusible tape… done

  17. Hildy Jo on June 8, 2022 at 2:30 am

Doesn’t work. The sides don’t reach around after cutting. If I sew the sides back up, it’s too tight to get onto the dog. Arm holes don’t let her legs move enough. Wasted a shirt. Cost me money. Sucks. I’ve yet to find one of these videos that work.

Need a band to secure the bottom around the dog if you have a Chihuahua…. Otherwise the loose fabric flaps and makes your chichi colder ❤️

You can buy a popper snap fastening kit on eBay very cheaply, comes in handy if the plastic pop fastening stop working on a quilt cover etc, you can then make more than one shirt for your dog as they dirty them very quickly!

Safety pins can pop open. I’d recommend fabric glue or even hot glue before a safety pin.
