    Up here in geographic middle America you have to pay to bring a stray into a nonprofit animal shelter. This racket has been going on for some time now (DECADES)

    A lot of landlords or apartment complexes don’t allow dogs or have a restricted lust of acceptable pets and breeds. That has a lot to do with why people can’t keep pets
