The first case reminds me of when I was a little kid. We were driving somewhere with Fred, our German shorthaired pointer, tied into my dad’s truck bed. At some point, our dog got untied and flew out of the truck, hitting the pavement. We immediately rushed to save him and took him to the vet. I was maybe 4 or 5, so my memory is foggy but I remember my parents having to put ointment on his road rash to help him heal. He made a full recovery but I remember being so scared and sad because he would whimper and cry every time they applied it.

what about sanctions against Korea until their government ends this horrific trade once and for all ??? Rabbits breed faster and are a better source of protein. And why hasn’t the overbreeding and abandonment of Greyhound dogs been stopped by the governments involved either ??? I think that the governments and ALL the breeders/trainers/track owners should foot the bill for these rejected greyhounds – after all they are the the ones Profiting from the mistreatment of greyhounds. In N.A. we have a similar, if on a much smaller scale, issue with hunting dogs – Labs in particular – being abandoned by owners on the spot when they don’t perform to expectations. The very small town I grew up in was forced to put down 5-6 month old Lab pups abandoned this way every duck hunting season, there just is not enough locals to adopt these poor puppies and it has always broken my heart. Every duck hunting season we are invaded by hunters – the bark of guns starting at 4 am etc. during the whole season. Many illegally camp on private and public property along the river. They leave dozens of Labs behind every year. Money collected from us for taxes should be going to stop these major problems instead of going to pay for politician’s luxury vacations. They need to start accounting for what they spend that tax money since it does not seem to be going where the public wants their money to go. People, Please remember that Politician’s ARE NOT OUR BOSSES – WE ARE THEIR BOSSES AND OUR RESPOSIBILITY TO KEEP IN LINE AS WELL – Time for the the public to wake up to this fact and start actually seeking punishment for the ones who commit criminal acts – We need to stop bowing down to bad people just because they have wealth ! Sorry about the rant, sort of.

I can say that as a Korean person, this practice is an ILLEGAL or at the very least VERY VERY GREY legal thing that is mostly done by the MUCH older generations of Koreans. A majority of Koreans don’t support the consumption of dog AT ALL. If anything we’re as horrified and disgusted of the practice as westerners

Having gotten between my senior lhasa apso (rip Bento) and a thirty pound rottweiler, I absolutely sympathize with the little puppy’s owner– in my case the other dog’s owner was right near by and helped me pull them apart, and no one was hurt, but it could have easily been a lot worse, and I’d gladly have lost a finger/hand to protect my dear old man.

Horrible. First to take animals bred for loyalty and *eat* them when there are other options, then to treat them in such a disgusting manner. I’ve spent my life in farming country. Livestock are treated with *care* so they’re *healthy* and *stress free* when it’s time to slaughter them. And the slaughter is done *quickly* so stress hormones don’t have time to enter the meat.

All of these vets are amazing! I have yet to see anyone with an attitude. They’re all so compassionate ❤️ I’m sorry though coz my 1st fave is Dr. Chris and my 2nd (not that he’s any less amazing) is Dr. Scott. Both has great sense of humor and makes me laugh each video they’re on. Also, I admire the dedication and compassion of all those Vet nurses in each of their practice. More power to BondiVet doctors and nurses ❤️

I love what you do. Please do more of the same. This footage was very hard for me to watch. If I could I would take all the dogs to my house and raise them and take care of them until their last day.

No way would I stand by to see my pet get mauled by another animal. I rescued my cat by a dog attack and had a bloody bitten hand as a result. The dog walked away with my cats the nails embedded in it somewhere. The vet who examined my cat said her back claws were completely broken off. She was so lucky it wasn’t much worse. I went to my doctor for a tetanus shot and a well cleaned out wound.

Sadly alot of these dogs end up never being able to brought into public even after years without it risking bad outcome .I volunteered at a place in Canada and half the digs brought over from Korea ended up in the pound disguarded

  33. Ling-ling on November 17, 2022 at 11:47 am

The dogs from the meat farm are so lovely i hope they gained the love they needed and find wonderful homes (i would’ve taken one of them if i was able and found out about them earlier but unfortunately where i live isnt fair for a dog due to hot having a garden)
