My Service Dogs Mobility Harness

My Service Dogs Mobility Harness

I got a request to cover a little about my MSH BLD harness from Allice. Thank you for the request I hope this explains a little. Yes Colt my service dog was super exhausted, he was falling asleep standing up and doing everything in slow motion.

How much did you pay for this harness it’s exactly what I’m needing for my psychiatric/mobility service dog Remington. I’ve been looking for over a year for the right harness. I have fibromyalgia, severe anxiety, ptsd and they are still trying to figure out what’s causing numbness throughout my limbs and dizziness.

My left leg is numb so I constantly use my dog to judge where I’m at.

Do you think it could be modified to pull a small cart? Maybe some extra d- rings?

i’ve been looking at mobility harnesses for moki, and lots of people say that bold lead designs is the place i should go with, but they are so expensive. i’m sure its money well spent, but still. i can barely afford gear to keep her warm or cool for the seasons. (seasonal gear) i personally am going to go for bridgeport designs, but one day i definitely want to try BLD.

thank for such a descriptive review! we are really interested in making this investment, but I wasn’t sure if it would work for us. I use Dixie for balance in dizzy spells but not so much mobility work. as of right now I have a cloth vest with pull strap & a guide harness with a backward tilt bar. neither of them seem to be good fits so far. we may be making this our next step!

Everyone wants to talk to the dog all of the time. Like, I know there aren’t a lot of labs where I live, but come on people.

Beautiful dog. Just one question did you have him professionally trained or did you train him yourself? If you did have him trained may I ask where?

I recently bought a harness for my SD, but I will have to return it bc the handle is just too loose and does not really help me the way I wanted it too. Also, even though it has fake ‘lamb’s wool’, it doesn’t have it in the most needed spots 🙁

I am so glad to see this YT you posted.

I’m definitely going to see if this will work for us <3

I love this video. My dog Max is currently being trained to be my Mobility assistance service dog. Max is a lab/American Staffordshire terrior mix and could be Colt’s twin. Any tips you have would be great.

If you fall at home and he doesn’t have the harness on do you just brace on his shoulders?
