I have a recommendation/warning for pups specifically, because I don’t see this being much of an issue with other pet types… Don’t ever ever ever buy an led collar!! If you do, take out the battery compartment and lights!!! Otherwise, you run the risk of the batteries corroding and exploding on you!! I know from experience!!
Can someone just wear a collar or do they have to use toys or eat from a animal food bowl for it to considered petplay?

I have really bad anxiety around shock collars period. We had them for our beagles since our neighbor was a jerk and said their barking was annoying and blah blah and one day my brother locked one of their collars on me until my parents got home. It was terrifying and I can’t go into pet stores on my own because seeing one makes me shake like no other.

Vetwrap is amazing stuff! It sticks only to itself and a must. If you are a chew-y type animal theres also no-chew vetwrap you can buy. It tastes terrible and gives you more of the real deal. But id reccomend using bondage tape or vetwrap but im biased to vetwrap.

If I were to try a shock collar I’d keep it around my thigh, I’ve used tasers but our skin is much thinner than dogs it definitely isn’t the safest but that’s why we have RACK

My family questions me on why I buy collars and wear them. I always lie and say, “It’s a trend” or something along that. My master loves to chase me and it gets us really tired and he lets me sleep near him.
