Yeh right. This is way to try and place hyperactive animals. I look for the calm ones.

I remember when I sprung my dog out of the city pound. He was hiding underneath his blanket peering out at me. When we locked eyes, he jumped out from underneath his blanket, ran toward me, and jumped up on the gate. That was fifteen years ago, and he is still with me. I will never forget how happy he was to leave the city pound.. 🙂

Yet another dog that should have been put down. A pit bull should never be allowed to be adopted

Just got to wonder, what kind of people are the almost 9,000 who DISLIKED this?

There should be no reason why you can’t find a place for all of these puppies …tear down old abandoned buildings that are on acers and acers of land and make them habitats for our fury friends ….this country has no problem waisting billions and billions of dollars on useless shit …..put it towards taking care of our animals …..not all the junkies …..that take up space …..

I’ll concur with that. I went looking for anr dog. I have a JR boy who I refuse to admit is any older than 10. Anyway to cut to the chase .. The pound I went to and did find a dog but they made the process just so difficult and were offhand I gave up. Luckily, I didn’t encourage the dog except a quick dog Hello. I have a wonderful environment for an addition to OUR family of two … I am now very reluctant to go down that path again given the humans behaviour.

    Who‘s chopping onions in here?

  16. Blake Sweeney on September 23, 2022 at 12:59 am

Looks more like he was excited to get out of the cage. He didn’t "know" he was being adopted. Wishful thinking.

  17. Stephen Nave on September 23, 2022 at 1:00 am

That family has a good dog to live with and love for the rest of its life and I hope he lives a long and happy one

  18. Larry on September 23, 2022 at 1:01 am

Man this got me, thank you to this family for rescuing Benny and to all that adopt from shelters ❤

The music is so so bad. The narration is unnecessary and corny, Other than that, yay Benny.

  20. Shaun Hewitt on September 23, 2022 at 1:10 am

So happy for him , dogs don’t deserve to be put down , it’s humans that are evil , !!!!!

  21. Cryonics Explained on September 23, 2022 at 1:11 am

isn’t that sweet? now he can drive the neighborhood crazy with his incessant barking

  22. Filson Figg on September 23, 2022 at 1:11 am

Isnt it astonishing how we readily see the need to help a dog, but can look straight through even more needy human beings.

  24. Alto Burger on September 23, 2022 at 1:14 am

Anyone who puts an animal in the pound deserves to rot. I don’t gaf what your situation is – if I couldn’t take my dog to a new house, I’d not move to the new house. If I went through a break up, I’d give up everything else before I gave up my dog. I view people who abandon animals the exact same as someone who would abandon a child. Absolute vermin.

I have seen few dogs on the motorway? that have been checkout of a window!!

  27. FefferRyerr on September 23, 2022 at 1:18 am

I showed this to a friend and he said it just thought it was going for a walk, it doesn’t have a human-like ability to understand it’s being adopted.

  28. Robert Clayton on September 23, 2022 at 1:19 am

How did that beauty last even one day in the shelter?

  29. Johnnie Honey on September 23, 2022 at 1:21 am

He was so happy to get out of there. Happy for him.

I adopted my dog from a shelter nearly 2 years ago. I was volunteering there, and I saw him immediately after he came in. I mean, before the staff made his kennel card and before the vet had a chance to look at him. I asked one of the staff to make his card and give me the number. I had the adoption request in within minutes. He was 9 months old, filthy and appeared to be abandoned, as he was picked up on the streets. He was only there the mandatory 5 days to see if anyone would claim him. I went back every day with toys and treats for him and when he finally got to come home with me he freaked as soon as he saw me… the boy is never far from my side and we both like it that way.

You can’t tell me animals don’t have a soul. Sure, it might not be like that of a human’s but they clearly feel love and happiness. Animals are deserving of love and compassion.

  33. Jake on September 23, 2022 at 1:26 am

lots of suffering for all sentient beings.

  34. Brussels Sprouts on September 23, 2022 at 1:27 am

What was the foot down his back leg all about?

  35. Dai Davies on September 23, 2022 at 1:28 am

My Question is how on earth do you know that you dont speak Dog, What a load of tosh…

  36. Sergio Ciudad on September 23, 2022 at 1:32 am

The dog is not happy, it’s just anxious and that should be corrected for him to be happy and balanced. The dog doesn’t know that he’s being adopted.

who could put such a great animal into a shelter?! I wan to adopt but i live in a studio without much room. They deserve a big wide open space full of friends.

  43. David Webb on September 23, 2022 at 1:41 am

I hope he settled into their lives okay. All the comments here miss label him as excited. That’s his personality. Looks to me like he has relentless energy. Probably abandoned because the previous family couldn’t cope with his energy level. It takes patience to live with such a dog until they get a bit older and settle down. I hope it all worked out.
