Mainly going to talk about BTEC level 3 animal management but this can has some things that may be helpful to other students wishing doing an lower level course.

i also didn’t go to mainstream and am considering taking this course! so glad i found you. I already started college last year, did three a levels but it hasn’t worked out for me. i’ve been working with animals for a whiile, and heard that i might possibly know all of the content already. do you have any thoughts on this?
i am so glad i found this video before going to college in september. i just hope that i get the grades to get into level 3 if not they said i can do level two. if i get on well in the class they could move me up. i am autistic too but i went mainstream because i was only recently diagnosed. thank you for making this video giving me a bigger insight to the course ill be doing. this video is very helpful! Edit: i have gotten my results and passed all but geography yayyyy!!!!!!
my cousin is in animal training too and I really wanna try it out in college but also worried at the same time
I was thinking of doing animal care and I was just wondering Do you know how hard the theory test is? And how much homework do they set? It’s fine if you are unable to answer
Very helpful , thank you
I’m applying for college this week!
I’m homeschooled (16 years old but I’m a year behind) I’m not very clever because I’ve been in and out of school for a while. I don’t think I’ll get a lot of GCSEs when I do my exams, will I still be able to work with animals? I’ve wanted to work with them all my life but I’m worried I won’t be considered because of my grades.
im doing this course at moment im 2nd year and i can defs say 2nd year is alot more thrown at you but you learn more on 2nd then 1st but i defs enjoy i have done all 3 years i love the course and want to go to uni as well level 2 you did have do work experince for 2 weeks and record what you do level 3 you do 2 weeks but covid meant we didnt 2nd year you have do 165 hours but only if you are 19 and under if you are older you dont have to do it i dont do it meaning i can focus on my assignements that im set
I’m scared to do this course but please update use because I start in a few months I struggle with the science side please talk about this
Ahh I’m so relieved now, I thought that I had to pass ALL different types of science and luckily i find biology the easiest!
I’m looking to do a level 3 animal management course as I’ve really struggled with a levels and want to go into animal care. If I do it will be my second time restarting at a college, I don’t know why I decided to try a levels for a second time when I disliked them so badly the first time around, I am really interested in animal management, behaviour, nutrition and general care. I’m hoping this is the right step for me!
thank you so much for this video!! it’s very informative and has given me lots of insight into the course 🙂
what college is this??
Anyone doing animal care who can tell me the stuff i should study the most on???
as someone who did level 2 first go straight for 3 level 2 wastes your time put all your effort into the level 3 course cause it is hard and does take alot of revision
Hi, I’m 1 year in and wanting to switch to do this and Psychology A level (I can’t do biology so this is my only option) to later study zoology at university. Because of this, I might have to do the diploma in 1 year rather than 2. I was wondering how many hours this would work out within a week? Thank you.
How much of the time do you actually spend doing practical and how much time is theory? I’m only in year 10 but this is my dream!!! Thanks if you can answer this!
Such an amazing vid! Do you have notes you can share maybe on a social media like TikTok etc, absolutely no worries if not!!☺️
Hi thanks for your help I’m starting in September any advice on what I should bring and any tips or things to be aware of?
So would you be able to do 1 year of the level 2 and then the next year do level 3?
What was the type of work you had to do

hi! I was planning on doing animal care level 3 extended diploma and geography a level on top of that. my teachers said that it’ll be manageable but I wanted to ask u because of course you have more experience! do u think animal care is very time consuming and stressful? I’m quite confident in science so I think I’ll be ok but I’d love your opinion 🙂 thanks !
I probabblyyy should have watched this before being accepted onto this course
This is very helpful, I love it when people explain things thoroughly. Definitely what I needed :))
What could this course lead to? Career wise
You mentioned having to do work experience on both level 2 & 3 Is it possible to go to the same place for work experience if you do level 2& 3 or do they want you do go to different places ?
