  1. Beautiful and very impressive!! There supposed to be one of the easiest to train in the large dog breeds!!! These 2 adults were very well trained, hardly ever went up on 2 feet!!! I want one!!

  2. My 9 yr. old Boerboel passed away last year due to Mast-Cell Cancer. It was very sudden,no warning signs or symptoms, the vet even cried along with me, that’s how sweet my Boerboel was. I miss her so much. I still cry.

  3. No doubt a good dog as derived from the English Bull Mastiff which was the gamekeepers dog of choice in brindle.

But no more or less any better than a Bull Mastiff, Cane Corsa or a Presa Canario , all Mastiff derivatives

  4. Boerboel vs hyena. Male hyena of course because if it were a female hyena it would be qn unfair fight. For the boerboel of course.

  5. Im from south africa and each time she pronounces boerboel im just like….aaahh man thats just not how say it aye.

  6. we had a boerboel ridgeback mix. he wasn’t as bulky but damn, he was very aggressive. criminals tried to poison him but he wont eat the food they threw over the fence. clever dog. somehow he also knew a gun is dangerous. he fought a dog down the street, when the owner came out with his gun, my dog stopped fighting and ran

  7. I hate to digress from the beautiful subject of these dogs which is why we all should be here-but why why go back-and-forth insulting people on YouTube in a (beautiful ,HAPPY)dog video??? I mean talk about taking something lovely and finding some freaking way to inject some totally irrelevant “assishness” into it……Damn!!!! I really hope these people are 12 and under……

  8. No talk about the Boerboel’s roll in the the Boers fighting the English, some of the toughest people in history.

  9. Ok so I searched your channel for Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs and this video came up. They are somewhat similar I guess you could say. They are both farm dogs and have about the same build. Mine is more muscular and defiantly more aggressive. However my dog is very well behaved. He is only aggressive when protecting our home or if anyone or thing approaches us in an aggressive manner. He is much more laid back with people than other animals but he adjust his aggressiveness to the situation well. I mean he has never hurt another dog to badly, as long as the other dog retreats or bows down he will tolerate it. He wont attack other animals like cats or anything. My son had two pet rats and he loved those little things. He’s basically only aggressive if anything poses a threat. I didn’t really have to train him much at all. I’ve had lots of different breeds and this breed is the best by far I have ever owned. They are farm dogs and this means lots of energy so you got to walk, work, or play them out daily. Other than that, they learn very fast what you like and what you don’t. A good example of this is he pooped in the house once. He was only about 2 months old when I brought him home. It was a good 30 mile trip home so I guess he had to poop right when we got home. He went and my wife screamed no at him. lol he did his best to get out the door with it but just made a trail of poo leading out my door but you know what he never went in the house again. He’s been in the house for two days straight with plenty of food and water but no one to let him out but he waited until there was. Great dog!!! Idk if you only show breeds in the UK or if any Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs exist there but you need to find one if so and show people what an awesome dog these are. Mine put a whooping on three pit bulls once. We was on a walk in the neighborhood and he was leashed and then come three pit bulls. I learned that day that even though I am 6’1 250 lbs and fairly strong I couldnt hold him on the leash even if my life depended on it. The dogs just became one big ball of fur, growling, and K-9’s. I thought this is going to mean a trip to the vet if my dog even survives but just as fast as it started the three pits pulled out of there one by one with their tails between their legs. My dog had a few open wounds and was bleeding pretty good but he was ready to go after those dogs for some more but they certainly didn’t want anymore. Im telling you if you want a dog that is just a good ol loyal boy who you don’t really have to train because of how well this breed wants to please you, this is your dog. Farm dog though so you better be ready to walk or even run him to get rid of all the energy they have or you will come home to a torn up house or to no dog at all as he probably jumped the fence or dug a hole under it to gogogo.

  10. The average boerboel have a bite force of 693 and 703 i have boerboel. He is a 9 year old male and hi bite force is 698

  11. those boys need a half cow a day to feed jees what a impressive dog that is 80 kg of pure canine muscle damn impressive

  12. You need a pack of those to scare off a lion. One swipe of a clawed paw of a lion would decapitate them.

  13. My Boerboel, Odin, is 8 months and above 75lbs currently. He is an amazing dog, loves cuddle time, cares for my two kids 5yr and 4yr. I have no doubt he would protect us til his last breath.
Be warned though, these are POWERFUL, CONFIDENT, SMART dogs even at young ages, they are not for the faint of heart or the weak willed, YOU have to be the pack leader or your boerboel will run the house.

  14. We have a female borebel. She is four months old and very sweet and bossy. Socialization is important. Training is necessary. Great family dog. Thanks for the video. My puppy acts like the dogs in the video.

  15. Why do these breeders allow their dogs to have such poor manners? Not the first time I’ve seen it on here. The Canes were the same way. She can’t even do a proper interview.

  16. Thank you very much . Very beautiful creation dog .
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

  17. My late afrikaans friend told me of these beautiful dogs. Bred to protect the homestead from lions etc… And from what I’ve seen and known… They have done so…

But as with any dog, these can make great family pets… But be careful as they’re wary of strangers.
