I have had Hughes Autoformer for years i would not be with out it life saver ,

  2. Living Beyond Existence on August 27, 2020 at 2:47 am

What about a water pressure regulator? Or does the Clear Source Ultra handle that duty too?

  3. Our Healthy Family Life on August 27, 2020 at 2:48 am

I’m thinking about looking up a soft start. Sounds perfect for our hot weather.

  4. Brendan Walsh on August 27, 2020 at 2:49 am

Ordered our Clearsourse. Thanks for the discount!

  5. Outdrzman on August 27, 2020 at 2:53 am

Hi, I have been watching your videos for a while, they are great info. I ordered and received a 30amp surge protector using your code, I’m glad to help support you. I looked at the water filters, I definitely need one, but these are a little pricey, it will have to wait a little while. I am also going to check on the spare tire kit. Thanks

  6. Cyndy Smith on August 27, 2020 at 2:54 am

    Thank you! Helpful tips!

  7. mildred webster on August 27, 2020 at 2:57 am

Omg there is a couple that has rv video’s that are copying you

  8. Ole, Lena and the RV on August 27, 2020 at 2:57 am

I need to get a plug in surge protector. This RV came with one on board but would like to know what’s coming out before I plug in.
I just had a fellow camper help me set up the TPMS. I just have to figure out to set the high and low pressure settings.
    Gradually getting stuff done.
How is the Covid down there?
I heard Sage (I think) in the background. Hope she’s doing well with her learning.
    You guys are the best.
    Greetings from Montana.

Your recommendations usually cost me money because I love gadgets, but watching this video didn’t cost me any money because I already had all five of the gadgets you recommended. I wouldn’t want to be RVing without these five. I have different brands of two of the gadgets, but they accomplish the same purpose.

    Joshua 1:7

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest

  11. Harry Lisle on August 27, 2020 at 2:59 am

On my list: Just buy quality tires upfront – even though that is an expense for something that "seems"brand new… Our R-Pod came with cheap Chinese tires (one actually burst in our driveway after just 2 yrs). I insisted on replacement USA made tires – hope those Goodyear’s hold up. 2nd – an RV keyless door lock (combination). Love your comment on backup cameras… My son gave us a wireless one – and same issue you had with wireless. Love your stuff – thank you for sharing.

  12. Porsha Latner on August 27, 2020 at 3:00 am

Just ordered the surge protector and Clearsource water filter. We should be getting our new travel trailer by the end of the month. Quick question. What are your thoughts on toilet paper? Do I really need to get RV toilet paper? What brand do you suggest?

  13. Lisa McGrath on August 27, 2020 at 3:02 am

As always great info, thanks so much!!!!

  14. Frankie from GTOWN on August 27, 2020 at 3:02 am

  15. RCB on August 27, 2020 at 3:04 am

This was real helpful guys. We were only aware of three of the items you had in this video. Thanks for the heads up. When we start our journey this year we’ll sure be thankful for watching this video. I can only think of three things we had never thought about before. THANKS YOU TWO!!!!!!!

  16. Steven Dunn on August 27, 2020 at 3:05 am

It’s a dream of mine to travel to own an RV ☺️ but whatever the future holds I will follow channels like yours. God bless

  18. GnatMan Allin on August 27, 2020 at 3:09 am

AWESOME GUYS! Thank you so much for another informative video. Love all the work you put into the channel. Hope to visit at the "Campout", Best wishes, C-Ya!…..Peace!

  19. Scott H on August 27, 2020 at 3:10 am

Fantastic Fantastic Vlog. You guys are great in front of the camera. One very minor critique…John, when you are talking you are spot on relaxed and damn near perfect. When Mercedes is talking you look at little stiff. To see what I am talking about rewatch the video and see how Mercedes just glances at you while you are is talking. She looks engaged at what you are saying. When Mercedes talks you look straight at the camera and look like you are waiting for your turn say your line. Glimpse at you her occasionally like she does you and BAZINGA…super video couple worthy of network TV. Keep up the great work guys. My wife and I are a few years away hitting the road but certainly hope to meet you out there when we do!

  20. Pilot Laura on August 27, 2020 at 3:10 am

I have 4 of the 5 items, because of you!!! Thanks for looking out for us!

  21. gary reed on August 27, 2020 at 3:12 am

That explains it dirty water now we know why

  22. Gary Lovio on August 27, 2020 at 3:12 am

Hello J & M , great advice. I’ve followed most of it already from prior updates. I never would have thought about these issues on my own.

  23. Michel Foshee on August 27, 2020 at 3:15 am

+1 watchdog. Picked ours up at this past Tampa RV Supershow from Hughes. Already paid off and the Bluetooth connection to phone App meant we reset while it was raining and didn’t get wet

  24. Lana Collier on August 27, 2020 at 3:16 am

We had not even thought about any of these, Thank you for the heads up

  25. Connie Fox on August 27, 2020 at 3:16 am

    Great information. Thank you!

  26. Ben Arbermann on August 27, 2020 at 3:16 am

I do not own an RV yet – I am window shopping. In the meantime I decided to do some research & came across your videos. Both of you are AMAZING!!! I love your videos!!!!

I am taking notes as if I were taking a class in college. You are very informative & educational – Thank you and please keep the videos coming.

My wife and I have a question. (Perhaps this could be the subject of a future video). What do you do when your RV needs service? What happens if the RV needs to be in the shop for several days?

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. Nancy Fernandez on August 27, 2020 at 3:17 am

Autoformers is great. I have the power booster but a different surge protector, soft start but still no tireminder or camera. Working on a different water filter too but I do have a water softener. Great tips guys as always.

  28. Steve Hurwitz on August 27, 2020 at 3:18 am

Thanks again guys! (1) The Travel Berkey is back in stock TODAY so I used your 5% off discount code and bought one immediately! Thank you! (2) Be careful for pre-wired backup camera set-ups to ensure the leads aren’t "hot" or in other words you don’t want the camera to drain your batteries, got this from another YouTube. If this isn’t a concern (such as you mentioned being able to view the cameras for security at night) then carry on, if it is a concern the other video suggested wiring the camera to the parking lights on the RV. Just a thought… Thanks again!!!

  29. Steve mckenna on August 27, 2020 at 3:19 am

Whats is the coupon code for watchdog????

  30. gary reed on August 27, 2020 at 3:19 am

Next RV Gadget is a compressor

  31. Kevin Steele on August 27, 2020 at 3:20 am

These sound like really great and important gadgets, great information thanks take care my friend

  34. Michel Foshee on August 27, 2020 at 3:32 am

What size water hose do you use? Any pressure drops noticed? And since I been parked long term for now, any notice on how long it takes to need filter replacement?

  35. cecil236 on August 27, 2020 at 3:33 am

amazing that yall always shout out about the same stuff i have bought or want , and found to be about perfect for the need you address…i am doing the same on all your topics except i havent got the backup cam yet…you are giving out great advice on equipment and technique.. i have tried them and they work…jus sayin…..
i will offer only one thing that i maybe add to your list, to add peace of mind to all things i do in an RV…it really makes me relax about anything that could happen…
an old fashioned white cloth bank bag full of junk silver and a thick wad of C notes….. now there is peace in the valley…

  36. Will Wonder on August 27, 2020 at 3:34 am

Even City Water sucks most of the time. I won’t even drink or use the Gainesville, Florida tap water to cook with…Yuckola! Thanks for this heads up on your suggestions for a better life on wheels. Love you two. bill in Florida

  37. Kevin Steele on August 27, 2020 at 3:35 am

    I need a smaller hose

  38. Vern Gauthier on August 27, 2020 at 3:36 am

Hi Guys, My wife and I really enjoy your channel. I have a question that I have not found an answer for. If you are at a park that is water and electric only what do you do about the black tank if you are staying for an extended length of time. How long can you go without dumping? Thank you

  39. Chuck Goodale on August 27, 2020 at 3:36 am

We absolutely love our ClearSource Ultra (3 stage) water filter. First learned of it from the RV ODD COUPLE!

  40. BackyardPC on August 27, 2020 at 3:38 am

Husbands recommends Hughes autoformer. Save your appliances! hughes autoformers pwd50-epo reviews

  41. Camping Coastie on August 27, 2020 at 3:39 am

I agree! That’s a great tire monitor system, it’s the same one I use. A really cool thing about it is you can buy extra sensors and move the monitor to different vehicles. Or put sensors on another trailer (or van as you’re considering) still using the same monitor.

  42. Earl Ribaudo on August 27, 2020 at 3:40 am

Every one talks about the Berkeley system. My question is do you drink hot water. If it’s cold, how long does it stay cold. If it’s that good, maybe someone should tell the rest of us. But good video. Enjoy all of your videos. You and John are quite the couple, in a nice way.

  43. esteban rodriguez on August 27, 2020 at 3:41 am

You guys are great! The info you provide is incredibly helpful.

I am a 51 yr old dentist from Miami needing to take a year off to recharge my batteries and really enjoy my family. Can’t retire yet. I want to buy an RV (5th wheel) and travel the country. Do you think is a good time right now? Should I wait until this virus is under control so i can enjoy the sites/campgrounds?

    Thank you in advanced,
