    Some of u mf need to calm down, like some of you MF say "LooSE SubSTraTE HurTS thE aniMaL" and then some of you are like "HArd subStraTE DamAGEs thEIR joINts" they will encounter different stuff in their life for things like bearded dragons and Leopard geckos they live in drought resistant plant forests in the desert, so combine sand, rocks, and mulch together and you’ll get a good substrate of hard and soft like they will encounter in the wild

    The lizards are cute but shouldn’t you be protecting their precious lives. Even if your cat isn’t huting it your lizard is probably very stressed. Also please stop letting your kids drive them around. My entire body is cringing in fear for them.

    There is no torture going on in these videos, just one thing I thought was risky was the leopard gecko placed on the car and launched across the carpet, and the last clip where the lady bought a pet but was afraid of it. (Don’t buy an animal if you are uncomfortable handling it. Ask to handle someone’s pet and offer to care for it while they are away on vacation to see if you are comfortable handling that species, for most pet stores do not allow customers to handle any animals due to liability.) Also the sand was a big issue, but other than that, there’s no "animal abuse." Please stop misusing such heavy words, it’s insulting to actual abuse situations when that phrase is haphazardly thrown around.

    Also you cannot blame the children for making mistakes if they truly didn’t know any better. It is, however, your duty as a parent to make sure your child is ready for a pet, and understands the animal is fragile. Do not leave a child unattended with an animal unless they have shown maturity and capability in properly handling the animals. Do not let them put them on toy cars, for their tails can get sucked into the wheels, or they could fall off (I’m thinking about the small leopard geckos) at high speeds and hit their heads.

    Also please learn the behavior of your animal to learn what they are trying to tell you – waving and head bobbing in bearded dragons indicates they feel like something is challenging them/stressing them out. You should cover the sides and back of the cage so they have one side that they can see out of. This eliminates stress and keeps them from being overstimulated by other animals that may potentially be in the room.

    This brings me to my final point – NEVER mix species of animals (cats + lizards, dogs + lizards, rabbits + lizards) because some animals can cause lethal bites to small animals.

    Jfc okay, so I’m getting a bearded dragon soon, keep in mind I don’t even HAVE it yet, but I know sure well that this isn’t what you have to do. This is horrible and actual terrible responsibility over pets. 1) half of the beardies look malnourished, 2) most of the beardies being bathed had water UP TO THEIR NECKS, it’s supposed to be KNEE height at the MOST. 3) all these leopard geckos need to be kept on non loose substrate, or at least substrate that isn’t SAND as that will cause impaction, 4) don’t tease/put your reptiles on thing that aren’t meant for reptiles! 5) how did these owners not take notice of the stances of their dragons?? When the dog was scratching on the enclosure the back was turned and the beard was puffed and out, it felt THREATENED. 6) surprisingly, it looked like most of the bearded dragons had the minimum of 50 gallon enclosures.

    For the love of god if you watch this and want a reptile or bearded dragon do not impulse buy, do your research and keep them SAFE and in the proper conditions.

    Aaaa there’s so many vids of leopard geckos on sand! Please don’t use sand in their tanks, they live in grasslands, not deserts! Even paper towels are better than sand, please spread this message!
