Walmart trip 7 3 15 with encountering fake service dogs

Should have known better than to go to Walmart on 4rth of July eve…it was a mess. At least one fake service dog for sure and another possible…. So a clip from this video was shown in a news piece and my daughter’s dog said to be a fake. We’re going to stop that right now. Her dog is properly Public Acces and task trained thank you…he is a legitimate service dog.

Blind people, wheelchair people, ok I can see a legit service dog. Fake cripples with "PTSD" and douchebags that just want to bring dogs in stores should be charged as criminals.

Amazing dog’s. My SP ( Standard poodle. ) has a little bit of a dog issue. She’s still in training ( she’s a seizure alert, and psychiatric service dog.) I’m so sorry if this make’s you angry, or offend’s you, but how can i make my SDIT not stare? she usually stare’s at smaller dog’s not big breed’s, just small ones. Is there any way/tips you can give? sorry if you get this a lot. Not trying to make you stressed.

The little service dog is a little skittish

I felt bad for the Rottweiler when she yanked his leash! Poor thing!

  6. Andrew Spangler on September 7, 2019 at 10:44 pm

What service do you think these dogs provide?

  7. mlposten on September 7, 2019 at 10:45 pm

Ok I don’t feel so bad your rott looked a little playful picking that item up. My service dog thinks it’s the greatest thing when he gets to pick things up it’s his favorite job next to bracing to help me up I think.
Do you find when or if you haven’t been out your service dog gets rusty. I trust Geist but I notice he looks around more this year after being really sick for months and not able to work him or go anywhere. Or am I being too much of a stickler on him?

  9. ConnyDraws on September 7, 2019 at 10:48 pm

wait, can you not just take small pets into the store? I’ve taken my cat into the store when he was a kitten to get supplies. idk might have been a different store

  10. Arnousha Alinejad on September 7, 2019 at 10:48 pm

    I have a services dog

  11. Raymond Ingle on September 7, 2019 at 10:48 pm

Thank you for not putting your dog in the card. It’s nice to see well trained dogs and handlers that know what they’re supposed to be doing.

  12. Jules Dolan on September 7, 2019 at 10:50 pm

I can see why they thought your dogs were fake…not neutered, I’ll fitting vests, dogs looking around…not staying on task.

I hope you guys know that you’re currently breaking the law in the US I don’t know if you’re from the US or not but bringing a fake service dog into a store breaking the Ada law and it’s making service Dog Handlers like me to bring my dog into the store so stop bringing your fake service dogs into stores and possibly endangering legitimate service dogs

  17. Annette Melnychuk on September 7, 2019 at 10:55 pm

wait… is the rotti a service dog as well?? now im just confused…

  21. Nicolas Mikaelson on September 7, 2019 at 11:01 pm

at 4:22 I saw how the handler with the rottie pulled on the lead. i know she was just trying to get her animal to refocus and correct them. personally, i would never pull on the lead of my animal like that. idk. just kind of caught me off guard.

I get so shocked at these videos, I haven’t encountered many service dogs in the UK but when I have they are always well trained, behaved, medium to large breed, harness or vest showing with owners in control. It’s such a shame that people think they have the right the bring an untrained dog into these situations. Although I we shouldn’t have to say it – well done to the owners of real service dogs who are taking a stand and continuing with their day to day through thick and thin <3

  26. kaiyodei on September 7, 2019 at 11:10 pm

  27. Koda Sykes on September 7, 2019 at 11:12 pm

lmao why do you need TWO service dogs??

  28. RereMendez on September 7, 2019 at 11:12 pm

I hate when people do that I have a service dog too.

  29. Leah Patts on September 7, 2019 at 11:13 pm

  30. Dawn Lacasse on September 7, 2019 at 11:14 pm

  31. The Wolf Pack on September 7, 2019 at 11:14 pm

“He’s from the city, he can’t help it” ……..that’s a first for me

  32. Lillian kline on September 7, 2019 at 11:15 pm

  33. Faye Fury on September 7, 2019 at 11:16 pm

I wish i knew someone with a rottie SD , my Sd sadly has gotten chased, bitten, and just overly scared by uncontrolled rottie pets….. he is a min pin so now no matter what i do he tries to run from any dog that looks like a rottie… even corsos and other bully breeds..

Today I was in downtown with a friend, with my service dog of course. We walked by this woman with a tiny toy poodle with a service dog vest. Right away I knew it was a fake. It wasn’t heeled, it was sniffing everything, pulling on the dreaded FLEXI leash, and didn’t pay attention to it’s “handler.” I wouldn’t mind as much if it was in training and the owner was correcting it, but no. I stopped after some consideration and waited until the lady was right behind me, turned around and told her that faking service dogs is a crime. I with anxiety of course stumbled my words but I managed since my service boy was with me. Boy was she rude, she was about to accuse me of having a fake service dog as mine stood next to me and as hers sniffed and pulled at mine. Honestly, I would normally have told management about a fake service dog, (I once had to report a woman who was carrying her barking dog at the zoo boy I was surprised they even let her get in) but since I was in the streets I wasn’t really sure or what else to do. How do I convince someone not to take advantage of the disabled. I get upset and stressed easily when talking to people, especially when confronting them, so I’m not sure what to do.

Beautiful service dogs! 🙂 The rottweiler has such a kind demeanor! Bravo the the trainers and dogs.

  36. Liberty Rogers on September 7, 2019 at 11:20 pm

I saw a fake service dog at Wal-Mart it was in a cart no vest i mean dogs don’t need vests but service dogs should not be in the cart and at least have some way to tell people it’s a service dog like a bandana or something

  37. Ap Ibarra on September 7, 2019 at 11:20 pm

I saw that same woman and dog at Walmart one time I was so mad

  38. Default System Profile on September 7, 2019 at 11:22 pm

he is a legitimate service dog ? For What ? glad your not carrying the dog then it is not a service dog. ADA says if you carry the dog it can’t preform a service.

  39. J Keyes on September 7, 2019 at 11:23 pm

It’s interesting reading all the comments about fake or real service animals. It is all subjective to the condition of the person requiring the assistance that the animal can provide. Which is something personally I can not attest to as I am not a medical person. Although there is a service animal that is a slowly getting known and would like them to get more known. Miniature horses are being trained for and used for an seeing eye animal instead of a dog very effectively. The same rules apply as for any service animal. More information can be found if you google Calie Corp.

At first I was confused since the lady filming was saying “leave it” and I thought she was talking to the service dog who clearly wasn’t hers but then I saw her beautiful Rottie and my heart melted

  41. nadine brown on September 7, 2019 at 11:26 pm

Just wait until some.asshole takes a damned vicious pitbull in as a fake service dog and mauls a real.service dog. This shit should be illegal

  43. Spirit SilverPine on September 7, 2019 at 11:30 pm

I hate fake service dogs (the people that own em) Bc they have no respect for the real ones.

Such good pups!! Wonderful job! I have a husky service dog, after she retires I’m debating a rottie as my next because of the size and structure of them. Love this channel definitely earned a subscriber!
