hi i love your video!. I have a guinea pig named Twinky but she doesn’t have a friend yet because she has a store bought cage and i have to wait until i finish my c&c cage to get another one but i was wondering if a 3 cubes long and one cube wide was okay ima make the top level out of my store bought cage. Its as big as i can get but i wanted to know if it was OK i know its supposed to be a 2×3 but …. i don’t know

    Canada info:
-Walmart: the problem with Walmart is that the grids they sell in the packs that I’ve seen come in different sizes. Some of the grids have small squares while others have larger squares (which is dangerous for guinea pigs)

-Home Depot/Hardware: they have them as well but I never buy from there anymore after multiple terrible experiences with customer service issues, rude employees and people trying to sell us things without properly explaining. They are there though!

I found a set of four storage cubes (which is 17 cubes total) at Fred Meyer for $19.99. they came in both white and black. i also found coroplast there but it was so small i didnt even bother buying it. buying just one set of cubes there allowed me to make a 4×4 sized cage for 20 bucks. that was a Fred Meyer in North America. I go to a Walmart in North America to buy fleece. each fleece is big enough to cover the entire 4×4 cage and each fleece only cost me $2.88 each. it isnt the nicest fleece; it starts looking old faster than other fleece does, but ive been using the same ones for months and they are still comfortable for my pigs and they still look nice. another cheap place to buy better quality fleece would be Goodwill

I would suggest making it at least 2 grids wide, one grid leave little room for them to run around and for putting in houses toys etc.

  20. Gluttony Biscuits on June 29, 2022 at 4:03 am

In the US they sell coroplast sheets at Walmart and depending on the quantity, you can get it fairly cheap. I suggest you skip using the grids as you can make a nice looking cage with only coroplast sheets

  21. MissCavyQueen on June 29, 2022 at 4:05 am

The cage in this video is 3 by 4

Save all the running around, I was able to use walmart.com the site to store feature will bring the item to the store nearest you, for no shipping fees.
(I found a folding table to set it on using the same strategy for less than 50 bucks)
